New Medical Centre at Crib Point offering allied health services sets new record.
Thanks to local community support, Crib Point Medical Centre has become instant success after it was opened by Neil Burgees, state member on 30th April. Over 2000 patients have attended the clinic within its first two month of operation. Clinic management is pleased to announce that Dr. Magid has joined Crib Point Medical center on 29th June to meet increasing demand and provide timely care of patients. Clinic aims to provide less than 30 minutes wait to its patients and it has been able to acheive less than 20 min average wait time so far except in emergency situations. Over 99% of its patients obtained appointment with in 24 hours.
Clinic is likely to be accrediatted by AGPAL this month and would come possibily the first clinic in Australia to acheive accreditation within first two months of opening.
Clinic is also able to provide appointments to all its patients within 24 hours, which is a great result for its patients.
Clinic is located near intersection of Stony Point Road and Disney Street at Crib Point behind Crib Point Shops. Crib Point Medical Centre is open from Monday to Friday between 8.30AM and 6PM and Saturday from 1PM to 6PM. New Medical Centre offers comprehensive integrated medical services, which could be referred by other medical practitioners in Peninsula region. The centre offers the services of a physiotherapist, dietician, podiatrist, audiologist, remedial massage therapist and three psychologists. The medical centre also has in-house pathology collection. Clinic doctors are supported by three practice nurses and offer a full range of general practice services.
Crib Point Medical Centre management is proud to have brought new medical facilities to the Peninsula region.
The clinic is taking new patients and requests other clinics to refer its patients, if they are not unable to give appointments to their patients.
Crib Point Medical Centre is happy to see patients from other clinics on Saturday afternoon as it opens from 1-6PM. It is anticipated that the clinic will open 7 days a week in the future and provide extended hour services.
Other clinics can utilise services provided by independent allied health professionals operating from Crib Point Medical Centre such as physiotherapists, audiologists, psychologists and podiatrists to utilise benefits under Enhanced Primary Care items.
